WINNING WITHOUT COMPETING

We like to win, and others too. But in competition, if someone win, the other must lose. We have a general thought that if we do not want to lose, we must win. The loser do not get anything, and the winner takes all.
Because of that, we start to build competitive mind. We started in our mind that we must beat others.
Just to be a winner some people will try anything, even illegal thing. We hear and read stories of athletes who use drugs just to win a game or race.
For a moment, they feel the excitement and enjoyment of winning, but, the truth always revealed. The sports committee finally find out that the athletes using drugs. When the truth revealed, the athletes will loose more than he had received.
What drive people to win a competition? Fame and fortune!. They have general thought that only by winning they can get fame and fortune.
But now I want to share how you can get fame and fortune by winning without competing.
Have you watched the Cars movie? At the opening scene, it showed how Lightning McQueen really wanted to win the race. He almost loose the race because of selfishness. There are the cars win that race, Lightning McQueen the Rookie, Chick Hicks who always on second place, and Strip Weathers the King. So they have to make another race to get the real winner.
Through time to get to the final race, Lightning has several problems because of his own mistakes. And through problem he learned a lot of life value.
So three of them finally meet in the final race. On the last lap, Lightning is about to win the race. The King is on second position and Chick on third.
Because he really-really win the race for the first time, Chick have made a decision that he will do everything to win, even if he must do unfair thing.
So he crash the King and make him has a bad accident. Lightning see this accident. He really want to help the King, but he is about to win the race. He has to choose whether he help the King or to win the race.
At the final moment, he decided to help the King and let Chick win the race.
Chick think that Lightning has made a very stupid decision, and he really happy about that. Of course he win the race and get the title he has been dreaming of for the rest of his life.
But the interesting thing is, even Chick win the race, but Lightning get the glory. And he even offered sponsorship from Dinoco, the main sponsor of the race.
We get a very valuable lesson from this story, winning a competition do not mean everything, there is another valuable value we should have. And if we have this value, at the end we will get fame and fortune. We learn that to win something, we do not need to make others lose, or to beat other.
This value also can be applied on others area of our life. For example, if work in a company, of course you want to be a manager, or even the director. Do not try to get that position by thinking the other employees are competitor. If you have competitive mind, than you will start to act like Chick Hicks.
Just do your best, do it with love and passion. Do it with spirit of excellent. Believe that there is POWER who will help you get that position. God is the POWER. If you do not get that position in your company, he will take you to another company, and it will be better than your previous company.
And if HE has to, He will open you a new company just to make you the manager of director.
So, start Winning without Competing.

If success is a place to go, then you must know how to get there. You must decided whether you go by your own feet, or you use vehicle.

So let us talk a little bit about jet airplane. Airplane usually has two jet engines or more. It means that the more engines you have, the faster it will be.
So we need engine, and more than one engine will be better.
What engines are we talk about?
1. Spiritual Engine
2. Mental Engine
How to make these two engines more powerful and efficient? What technology we will use?
The technologies we talk about are the PROGRAMS and METHODS created by the experts. Never before in the history of mankind success is so easy to get like this time we have. It is because we have all the technologies we need.
And thanks to the advance technology of computer and internet that we can even get these technologies (the programs and methods) easier and free!
How lucky we are living in this era!
So, let us talk about these two engines of success.
1. Spiritual Engine
I can say that spiritual engine is the foundation of every success person. Deep in their mind, conscious or unconsciously, they start this engine first to get their success.
This engine works by believing that God has given the things we need to success to each one of us. What I really mean is EACH ONE OF US.
If you read the Scripture, starting from the creation, in the book of Genesis, you can find that God create man like Him. It means that we have the power of God. We have God’s creativity. Look how creative God is, when He created the universe. So the same creativity is yours too. Start to believe that you are creative like Him.
You can build, create, and discover anything you want.
Not only that, God also has given you the authority to use everything He has created for the goodness of mankind, as long as we use it wisely (Genesis 1:28)
God himself said in Genesis11:6 that nothing a man could not accomplished. In other words, WE CAN DO ANYTHING!
In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus even said that WE Can Move Mountain, EVERYTHING WE ASK WILL BE GIVEN TO US, as long as we HAVE FAITH, and doubt nothing.
So Spiritual Engine means to have FAITH IN GOD, Believing the Words of God.
The more Faith you have in God, the more you believe, the more powerful your Spiritual Engine will be.
2. Mental Engine
Mental engine works by believing yourself, believe that you can get your own success, because you have given the power by God.
Say to yourself, if other people can get success, than I can get success too. Believe that success is my right. Success is a right that God has given to me.
If in Spiritual Engine you have faith in God, in Mental Engine you have faith in “ME”
If in Spiritual Engine you are believing the Words of Go, in Mental Engine you are IMPLEMENTING the Words of God into your life.
So, if God said that you are creative, you can not stop just believe that. If you stop just to believe, you will not get your success. You must IMPLEMENT it. Say that “I am creative” and proof that.
You must have the mindset of “I CAN” in everything you want to achieve, because you have given the power by God.
But these two powerful engines will be useless if you do not make some ACTIONS. Even you have started your engine, it will not move and bring you to a place you want to go, you must Push the GAS PEDAL and STEER it. Push and Steer are the ACTIONS.
Start your Action by finding what you want to do the most. What job excited you most.
Many people have a wrong thinking when they consider only by doing extraordinary thing they will get Success.
It is not true. Of course there are some people who get Success by doing extraordinary thing, but only FEW of people.
More people get success by doing ORDINARY THING, but with EXTRAORDINARY SPIRIT, EXCITEMENT, and ENJOYMENT.
Do it with LOVE, and let other feel that love you put in. Experts say that most people decided to buy something because they feel the love.
Even Hyper store like Wal-Mart gain their success by showing love to their costumers.
After that you have to decide that you will improve your work. Five more value on your work. For example, you believe that you sell the best cheese to your costumers, and the costumes know that, and love your cheese.
But do not stop there. Do not get satisfy only by the product. You can add more value. You can teach your costumers good recipes using the cheese. You can teach them the best way to use the cheese. For example, cheddar cheese have a different usage with mascarpone cheese.
So, start your engines now.

THE POWER OF "ME"!

Maybe the title sounds so self proud. But I really think that we need to know about this power.
There are two great power to bring success into our life
1.The power of God
2.The power of ME

With the power of God, we have faith that we have the foundation of our success. We believe that God can make great things in our live. There is nothing impossible for Him.
But it makes a question, if God can do every impossible thing in our life, so why are those who call themselves believers does not get their miracles and success?
I myself ask the same question. So I ask to the Source, then I get the answer. I learn the story of Moses, Joshua, and David.
Moses has done many great things that God told him to do. He has done so many impossible things. Of course it makes us think that Moses has a powerful faith. But, is it true?
If we read the Bible, we can see that one day Moses really made God disappointed. One time God promised to give the Israel people meat. Not just for one day, ten days, or twenty days, but a whole month.
But God’s promised sound ridiculous to Moses. Maybe at that time Moses laughing God because giving this promise.
He has a great doubt about how God can provide the meat he has promised because there were so many of them.
God was so disappointed of Moses. God said to Moses, “How come my power can not make it happen? Now you will see does it happen or not!”
Unfortunately Moses think like a human being, who are a created being. He forgot that God is the Great Creator. He can do all the things he wanted to do. If He said so, then it shall be done. No doubt about that.
God did something that Moses could never imagine. He gave them rain of birds. They were astonished. Surely God always kept all of His Promised.
All this time, even though Moses did many miracles, Moses never have faith that he has the power given by God.
All he knew that God’s power only “passing through” him. He had no excitement about the power God has given to him.
But gladly his disciples Joshua did not like him. Joshua had a real faith. Joshua has faith that God has given the power to “ME”
So when the people of Israel was afraid to go to the promise land, they have faith that they have the power to take the land, even though there were giants on that land.
David did the same thing when he faced Goliath, the giant. He have faith that it’s “ME”, the one who killed the giant. The Power of “ME” make the miracle happen.
Why did we could not make our own miracles and success, and only watch others make their miracles and success?
Stop ASKING God to give us miracles and success, because He has given us the power. Very often we are the one who must make the miracles happen.
God did not throw the stone to Goliath’s head and killed him, David did. David did not just stand and wait God to kill Goliath, but he ran toward Goliath and throw the stone to Goliath’s head and killed him.
David said to himself that it is ME, the one who kill Goliath.
David did not bragging himself when he did that, he was proofing God’s given power in his life. We must do the same too.
Bring in the power of God into your life by having faith on His Words (so you must read the Bible).
The power of ME will use the power of God to make your own miracles and success.
Have faith in God, and have faith in Me.
